Hello!

I'm new to the forum, and I'm looking forward to interacting with you all, learning from you and us meeting our goals together.

A few years ago, I was at my heaviest (175 lbs), and managed to lose 17 lbs on my own through hard work and dedication. 3 years later, I have gained some of that weight back, and am now I'm looking to permanently make a change in my life. I'm turning 30 this year and want to look GREAT! I have a lot of muscle, so I believe 150 lbs will look good on me. Being super small is just not a part of my DNA and I know that will never happen.

I am currently on day 2 of Shaun T's Insanity program and have combined that with Ian Smith's Extreme Fat Smash Diet. The diet worked well for me in the past, and is not so limiting as other diets.

Welcome from a fellow newbie! I hope you find the support your looking for here! It sounds like you have a great base for what your doing! How often are you working out?

Hi Vortgirl,

I am currently doing the Insanity workout, and there is a workout 6 days out of each week (rest on Sunday).
