Back.....again,
I've been on here 2x already and I always fall apart.(3rd x the charm right?) South Beaching it and started Monday. Already peeing like a racehorse.(lol) The diet's not so bad but I truley hate living with 3 others(kids and DH) who do not need to diet. I get tired of making 2 meals. Tried to convince them to eat my way but they are beanpoles and probably need the carbs they get.(sooo jealous!) Had the best kabob last night though and the boys(DS and DH ended up tasting it and wanting to have it for their dinner too, kabob and roasted asparagus)
So anyway..I'm back and ready to rumble. Tina |
So glad you are back! I also have three kids and have found that I had to do major modification for food (dinners mostly). I told myself I would not cook two dinners and I don't.......lol. My family are also skinny minnies who do not NEED to eat like they should. So, I started thinking to myself, just because they have a fast metabolism does not mean that they shouldn't eat healthy. So when I cook (which is most of the time) I make a protein, always include a vegetable and some sort of carb. They love the carb and protein and barely touch the veggies, but I eat all the veggies I want! I have noticed (as in your situation) that they tend to try things that they normally wouldn't because it is there and they see me eating it and liking it. I have to get them to understand that veggie does not= gross......lol. Anyway enough ranting.......glad to have you back!
