Hey I'm new =/

  • I'm not really very good about talking about myself but I'll try.
    Well I'm 19, scottish, I'd like to think I'm a good to get along with, Itry my best to undersatand others and I beleive that you should treat others with the same respect you wish to recieve. I'm generally a happy person the only thing I have insecurities about is my weight and have done for as long as I can remember :/ but thats why I'm here Thanks for reading and I hope to meet many new frends on the same boat as me to help each other along the way

    Just come on here and read a few inspirational posts and temptations will be a LOT easier to say no to.

    And if it's still calling your name, make a thread about it! People will help you through it and tell you that you're doing this for YOU and your health and you can get through it.

    Also, you can read about different diets that people are on so you can see what's best for you. Good luck!
  • thanks I'm soo hopeful that this will finally give me that little push I need I don't wana be on a crazy fad diet though like cabbage soup (my mum was on it and the smell was horrific :/ lol) but I'm willing to try just about anything
  • Well, I'm a number cruncher at heart (studying to be an accountant), so calorie counting was definitely what I wanted to do and what I was most comfortable with.

    Any diet (that is not a fad diet and is reasonable) will work as long as you like it and can stick with it. Just read about different ones and picture yourself doing it. If you think you'll be able to do it comfortably as a lifestyle, then do it! If not, then you'll probably get discouraged. It may take a few days of trying different diets and reading about them, but don't give up! Once you know what you want to do, stick with it and maybe throw in some exercise once you know you're doing something you like.
