Anyone interested in a daily accountability?

Hi! I'm lacey and I'm 22 years old...I am having an extremely hard time losing weight. I gained 40lbs AFTER I had my first child. Now I just had my second baby and I want to lose at least 35lbs. I'm at a dead end cause all I wanna do is eat what I want. I am starting Chalean extreme today but the dieting is the hard part for me. So I think maybe some daily accountability would help. Faithful accountabilty only though, please! Would anyone be interested in helping me and letting me help you?? Thanks

squishysquirrel 03-22-2010 08:03 PM

I actually ordered Chalean Extreme on Friday and hope to have it by next week and start. I'm interested in some daily accountability because I get off track so much. Good luck!

I'm not doing the chalean extreme but daily accountability sounds good to me! May help on days like today when I just want to eat what I want!

Hi!
My name's Avery and I started trying to lose weight at the beginning of the month. Just found this today. Can anyone tell me how to get one of those neat little weight-o-meter things? lol

IWantABeachBody 03-23-2010 12:33 PM

Hi Lacey! My name is Emily, I'm 28 years old and want to lose about 65 pounds. I think daily accountability sounds great. I have just started my weight loss goal yesterday. I definitely have a tendency to go off track. I am on my own here, that is why I joined 3FC today.

To Avery~I don't think you get the weight loss ticker until you post 20 times and after 20 days of being a member. I am excited about getting one, too :)

Gourmet Bean 03-23-2010 01:41 PM

BeachBody has it right, 20 days, 20 posts (also applies to links I believe, to keep the spammers down).Tickers are definitely something to look forward to. It's exciting to move it down, lemme tell ya! There are tons of daily accountability threads here, I do daily Weigh Ins and post it in the 20-somethings. There's always an accountability check in for every month whether you're looking for WI's, exercise, or food. Look around, post some, everyone's so nice here!

Sounds good....how exactly does this work?

redsox33 03-23-2010 02:06 PM

You have to wait 20 days to get a weight loss ticker? Can I get a ticker to count down to 20 days?

akelly728 03-23-2010 03:44 PM

I actually use a ticker from Ticker Factory and put the link in my sig and it works fine. They seem to have more options in terms of backgrounds, ticker, colors, etc. Mine worked from day 1 as well.

Welcome everyone thats new. Also you may try writing down everything you put in your mouth. That way you are accountable to yourself and others. I have lost almost 30lbs since Jan 18th. And I love food, I love to cook for my family, I love salty snacks. But at the end of the day I am the one that has to deal with myself, my weight, me letting myself down. I am the one that has to do this....Keep that in mind. This is about YOU!!! we can do this together.

akelly728 03-23-2010 05:03 PM

Terre, is there an official Summer Onederland Challenge thread/group? If so can you link me to it? I definitely want to join!

corndog 03-23-2010 05:15 PM

4 more lbs to go till I'm given my season pass to Onederland :D

Hey everyone! I'm so glad we've got people interested in doing this...I'm not sure exactly how we can do it other than posting how we did everyday with eating and excercise, and encouraging others.- Squishysquirrel - I'm so glad you got chalean extreme...I'm going to start mine on moday cause I've had Dr appts. and lots of other things this week. I'm really pumped about doing it. - Well I didn't do good at all today cause I was at the dr for my son all morning and then a little shopping, so I of course got fast food...and not a good choice either...no excuse at all. But tomorrow I'm gonna do good. just one day at a time! Let's all do good!

BrittanieYork 03-23-2010 05:23 PM

What exactly is this Summer Onederland I keep hearing so much about? I just started this today... so I'm trying to catch up : )

corndog 03-23-2010 05:48 PM

I just joined today, but I assume that Onderland is when you cross that barrier from 200 lbs to 199.9 lbs :)

LosinitinCO 03-23-2010 06:46 PM

Hi Lacey and All!

I would love to join your daily accountability "group"! I think that will definitely help keep me going!

Lacey: You sound a lot like me, I am a 23 year old mom who needs to lose the weight I put on AFTER my son was born!! I would like to drop 50 lbs.

Good luck to all!

jaimie39 03-24-2010 02:51 PM

I know that for me an accountability thread would be soooo helpful! Just a thread titled something like "what did YOU eat today" would be great. Then the others could weigh in and give helpful suggestions or ideas. I feel like it would help me to be able come here every day and just post what I ate. Knowing that I need to do it at the end of the day may very well keep me in check during the day! Can somebody please get a thread for this started???

LMS 03-26-2010 11:25 AM

HI! I've done really well since Tuesday...I'm down one pound. So that's good. so far today I have had turkey bacon and 2 eggs, coffee with splenda and about a tsp. of creamer. Still have not exercised but I'm gonna pop in my dancing with the stars here on a few minutes. I don't have time to do chalean extreme but I promise I'll start that monday. LosinitinCO - Good Luck! Too bad we can handle the pregnancy cravings but not the tired mommy munchies, huh? :)

LosinitinCO 03-26-2010 11:34 PM

So, today I did alright. I had my SBD cheesecake for breakfast, oriental grilled chicken salad for lunch, bowl of chili for dinner. Did have the spinach artichoke dip appetizer with lunch, but am getting right back on track!

My goal is to do follow my program perfectly over the weekend. I am so close to my first mini goal, and would love to accomplish that this weekend!

Lacey- LOL you are so right! Pregnancy was easy but what happened when we were only getting a few hours of sleep! A hazard of having a baby :o

Good luck and have a great weekend everyone!

Hey! Did really good for a Saturday, eggs and turkey bacon for breakfast, chicken for lunch and dinner. But I did have one small fry order. But normally I splurge on weekends so I am very proud of myself! Hope everyone is doing good,
LosinitinCO - great job! Lets keep it up, and occasional slip ups aren't so bad. I think I do better that way so I don't feel like I'm not allowed! :)

LosinitinCO 03-30-2010 11:41 AM

Hey All!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, my "daily accountability" has been a little lax. Was out of town for the weekend and made way to many poor choices :(

Getting refocused and motivated to get back on track again this week! I am definitely a "Monday through Friday" dieter, I need to kick this bad habit! Looking forward to a great week :)

I will post my day later. Good luck everyone!

LosinitinCO 04-01-2010 10:55 AM

Hey All!

So, I am struggling to find motivation to get past last weekend. I seem to be doing better though, I am settling into the program again and am going to work really hard to lose 10 lbs this month! It seems so much easier to find motivation and courage when you first start a program, it's a lot harder to get back into one.

Hope everyone has had a great week! Will post what I ate later.

Good luck today!
