Hi Everyone!

My name is Marcia. After just tipping the 200lb mark I decided I really need a lifestyle change and I found this forum. So far I have gotten a lot of support and encouragement from everyone- thank you!

I love animals and my wonderful hubby. No kids, 3 cats and a puppy. I have a full time job and a pt job and I am in school full time. I guess I just got lazy with my health with so many other things going on. Well I will be graduating from school soon and my goal is to be 150 by graduation - and the start if my new life.

I would love to make friends in the Brighton area (if anyone is from there- most of my friends are in Denver). :P

Maybe now, with everyone's help, I can do this and be the person I know I am on the inside- healthy and beautiful!

Hubby and I had a Basset Hound (had to put him down last year) and are looking forward to getting another in the near future. We might look next Spring but not sure yet. What breed is your puppy?

My puppy is a little Min Pin/Corgi mix. She has built in eyebrows that always look sad and everyone just falls in love with her. She is very decieving. ;)
Welcome to all of you as well! Besides just dieting, if you are doing anything that really seems to be working for you, be sure to let me know! I am doing Shapely Secrets and Just Dance as well, but only for a week now. Jury's still out. But If I see some amazing results, I'll be sure to let you know!

I'm curious, how do you pronounce your name? I spell mine the same way and pronounce it like Marsha.
