Trying again
hello There
I have just joined this forum. I have been putting on weight steadily over winter ( 5 lbs) and I have recently started HRT and although I was trying to watch my weight I gained a further 6 lbs in just a few weeks and an inch or two around my waist and hips. My trousers don't fit me anymore and I can't get into a pair of tights. I am 49 and it's much much harder than before to lose weight, also exercise is difficult for me as I am often ill. Life is a lot easier on HRT, but I feel I have to try and go to a healthy weight to justify the risks of staying on it. I was dieting and exercising on my own, but I have a liberal idea towards both! I have just started a "fat attack diet" online. I don't know if I will last as I do not like to suffer! In the past I have been to other diet clubs but gained weight even though I followed the diets to the letter, I have a very slow metabolism. Anyway, to be a healthy weight ( within the BMI normal range) I need to lose 20 lbs. Wish me luck..I need it as I am very hungry right now and I don't want to get into an unhealthy relationship with food. I normally eat very healthily, but eat too much! ( and sometimes too many chocolate biscuits...wholemeal ones!) That's enough from me. I know that R.C. has it's own forum but I thought I would post here as well , to get good ideas and keep positive if I give up on that particular diet. M.17 |
Hello Muse17! 20 pounds is not that much, but it must seem like alot! I'm doing SBD and it's working well for me. Give it a try. There's a SBD section on this site! U are welcome to join us anytime!
