Hello Chicks!
 

My name is Mandy! I have been overweight ALL my life. I don't ever remember being small! At Christmas I gained 30lbs and hit 260lbs! I couldn't believe I "let" myself get to that. That is higher than when I was pregnant with my youngest son! I knew I had to do something. I am doing the Body for Life plan. I started January 11 and in 6 weeks have lost 10lbs! YAY! I'm proud of myself. I am currently at 250 but never thought I would be happy to see that number! lol My short term goal is to lose a total of 20lbs by April 5. That will be 12 weeks on this eating plan.

December 3 will be 10 years that my husband and I have been married and we are planning a trip to hawaii or mexico. So that is even more incentive to lose weight. I would LOVE to be 150 by then but am not sure if I can lose 100lbs in 9 months! I dont really care how much I weigh as long as I look fit. Like I said, I don't ever remember being small so I don't even know if I CAN get to 150!

Anyway, that's my story! Nice to be here!

Hi Mandy. Congrats on the 10 pounds so far! The Holidays are hard on most everyone, but this year seems to have been really hard with all the extra-cold crappy weather mixed in....Keep on trucking and don't give up and you WILL get to your goal. You CAN do it! Welcome to 3FC!

I can relate to you completly. I too have be over weight all of my life. I used to wear chubby dresses. I didn't gain weight during my pregnantcys but after words when I just grabbed food in a hurry!
I know we can help each other!
