3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community

Hi Folks,
New to this site. New to posting. New to blogging. New to just about everything here except being fat. Seems I have done everything to tolerate being overweight from making it glamerous to making it healthy. Now I know it's time I do the mature responsible thing....for my health, as an example to my children and to support my profession. (cardiac nurse). Live in south central Pennsylvania. Moved from Savannah GA 3 yrs ago. I have a good friend, that had the G-band surgery and has lost 80 lbs. She has the dicipline of any monk, and I believe she could have succeeded at it without the band. Anyway, she is a primary motivation here. Good luck to all.
