Transformation 'Healthy', LAUNCH!

  • Hello. I'm 16 right now, and currently about 205lbs. I have been fat since I was eight, and I am eagerly hoping to change that.

    I have been everything you could imagine, now I want to do something I've always thought of, but never got the willpower to do. I want to be healthy, and possibly skinny. For the longest while I never knew how fat I was. I'd see myself in mirrors and think "I'm not THAT fat." But lately, I've been comparing myself to friends and what not and now all I see in the mirrors are FATFATFAT.

    I don't want to be that anymore.
    Time to get off my butt and lose it too!

    My (Dream) Goal is 120, about the size I was in the 6th grade ):
    Before Summer, though, I'm aiming for 170-160, because I'm going on a trip to japan
    and i'd hate to not fit any clothes there /:

    Well, since i still attend high school it's been very hard,
    but i go walked a minimum 3 days a week for an hour or more a day,
    sometimes on flat surfaces, sometimes not.
    As for dieting, I've cut most of my intake in half,
    switched to organic choices over junky things,
    CUT OUT SODA FROM MY LIFE(hard, but accomplished),
    drink many cups of water, and count calories (:

    it's not an official 'diet' but i feel it working in my well being!
  • Congrats, you sound pretty determined! losing 30-35 pounds in 3 months means you need to lose 2-3 pounds a week and that is a little bit too much. But first 30 pounds go off pretty easily, so I think you can do it without gaining it back on if you continue practicing healthy eating even after you reach your goal.
