3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community

hello there!

just a post to introduce myself, i am irene aka grrrkgrrrl, living in england, even though my username suggests where my roots are from ;)

since september i have managed a total weight loss of 40 pounds, and only finished with the calorie-deficit part of it last week.

i stumbled on this forum when looking for maintenance tips and have been happily reading ever since. i have to admit to be a bit scared of the process, maintenance feels more dreadful that the weightloss, but i want to be a success story. i had never dieted before in my life and would love it if this were the first and last time i have to go through this (i am 26, and put the weight on after moving to england on my own and junk food became my daily source of food)

you guys look like a very nice and supportive bunch, and am glad to have found you.

hopefully with a combination of support/education/determination, i'll be able to sustain my weightloss and help others in their journey
