Hello everyone! I am new to the site and looking around some. I am 34. Started really loosing weight in June 2009 and have lost 120 lbs on the Slim4Life program in Fort Worth, Tx. I've struggled with weight all my life added 50 lbs with both of my 2 older kids, found myself at 300 lbs and stayed there for 6 years and found myself pregnant with my 3rd child. Did not gain weight with that pregnancy thanks to being on a strict diet at the end due to gestational diabetes. Actually lost about 20 lbs and felt amazing after having him. Then...life caught up to me, I finished breast feeding and gained it all back and more.

Fast forward 3 years and now I know I have to loose at least 170 lbs and started thinking about surgery but wanted to try another, safer way to loose first. I found Slim 4 Life. It is expensive, but for me, its been worth it. I've now been on it for the last 36 weeks (less than time to have a baby!) and lost 120 lbs. I've got about 50-55 lbs left to loose and can not wait to see what I will be like at a healthy weight for the first time in my life. I am now back to pre-pregnancy weight from 13 years ago and my husband is thrilled. It is encouraging to share with people and get feedback that no matter what program or strategy works for you, keep at it!

Congrats on the weight loss!! If you don't mind me asking..what is slim4life?

Slim 4 Life is a program that is high protein, low everything else type of weight loss program. It is available only in certain areas where they have centers. Kansas City area, Dallas/Fort Worth area. I believe there is also Slimgenics which used to be the Slim 4 Life centers in LA and Denver areas.

Hi everyone I am totally new to this site, but I also started S4L today is my 1st day and I am doing the 3 day cleanse... I would love to have a few buddies to share tips and tricks, and recipes and anything else that comes along the way! My name is Jamie, help with the site to would be great!
This is the 1st time I will ever tell my weight but I am 205 and have 63.5 lbs and they say I should be at goal by july 27th

Hello Jabunny! I've been doing S4L for 37 weeks now and can say the program definitely works for me as I've lost 120 lbs since last June.

Hi Kari, I am so glad to hear about your success. I also live in fort worth T.X and just joined slim4life. Today is my first day of cleanse and I cannot wait till I am a decent size again. I am suppose to lose 75 lbs. I would LOVE LOVE to make friends here so we cal all motivate each other. Thankyou :)
