Hello :o)

Hi everyone

I'm Jen, I'm 27 and I live in Jersey in the Channel Islands. I've had problems with my weight since I was about 14, but it took getting a new boyfriend to make me realise how serious things were (new boyfriend has a boat and after going for a swim around it in the summer, I couldn't climb back on!). At my biggest (April 2008), I weighed in at over 19 stone and was a size 24/26.

After a year of losing weight at a snails pace, I started Lipotrim in May 2009 at 16 stone 9lbs. I had to keep going from the full diet, to maintenance and back as I had issues with my bowels packing up - at one point I didn't ''go'' for nearly a month and ended up putting weight back on even though I was sticking to the diet rigidly. It felt like I'd hit a roadblock and even with the diet and exercise, I got stuck at 14 stone 7lbs.

I decided to give up with the Lipotrim at the end of October and embarked on eating healthily and doing more exercise. I'm now down to 12 stone 6lbs, size 10 upstairs and size 12 downstairs.

My goal is to get down to about 11 and a half stone, at which point I'll be booking a consultation for surgery. I've been left with a lot of saggy skin on my boobs, belly and thighs, and after doing loads of research online (and chatting to other people in the same situation), I'm going to need a tummy tuck, inner thigh lift and (depending on how the consultation goes), liposuction. Oh and definitely a boob job!

Anyway... That's me.

Jen

Hi Jen,

Welcome. :) I'm relatively new here too but have been lurking for a while! I've found it a useful and friendly place for motivation and advice, whatever your situation is. Sounds like you've been on a long journey and are doing well. Good on ya!
Wish I had a boyfriend with a boat.:D

Thanks guys :D

Found this site when we were looking up peoples tummy tuck stories and thought it'd be a good idea to join as you all seem pretty clue'd up on everything and it's been quite helpful reading other peoples experiences.

Cherry... the boat is great fun. Until it comes to having to clean it lol!
