I just signed up but a few minutes ago. I am on a wait list for weightloss surgery right now but at this time am trying to lose some of the weight on my own. I use to weigh almost 300 lbs and lost alot of that and now i am at 248. this is where i keep getting lost with all the do and don't sayings. my weight keeps going up and down. My husband seems to be doing really good with it all and trys to give me advice but he is a man and his body is different than mine. well i hope i can find some friends here to help me stay on track. :^:

Good luck to you. I too just started and I send my best wishes to you on your journey. I hope that you are able to lose the weight without having to go thru all of the affects of surgery. Stay strong and each day realize that it is a new day to start all over. Don't get discouraged with you husband's success and be supportive of him and it should rub off.

I've seen so many negatives about the surgery I'd try to do it the natural way! I know it's hard & men always lose faster than women....but I think if we stay focused & encourage each other we can do it! You already have a Great start! Congratulations!
