Newbie here! Hello all
 
Hello! I'm a 25 yr old law student. The best 2 years school has kept me busy and that let me turn to fast food and quick eats on the go leaving me finding it harder and harder to fit into my wardrobe....;)

So I decided to go on South Beach. I've bought a couple of the books and done the reading. I just started with Phase 1 and for x-mas got a Wii Fit, which is so much harder than I ever thought it would be. I'm also missing bread and tired of eggs already. lol

You must have your hands full with law school - sounds like you're off to a good start with a great plan - the support you need is here - we'll all be here to cheer you on.

Glad to have you join us! There are lots & lots of different groups and forums - I'm sure you'll find some that will keep you motivated and inspired - you'll be a wonderful addition to any of them. Try the 20 somethings, South Beach and the weight loss support forums, they're active and very helpful - also the Success stories are a definite must for motivation.

There are bunches of people here with more to lose and some with less - the bottom line is that we all have to do it a day at a time. The good thing is that we'll have lots of company along the way.

I've only been here since last fall, having NEVER been part of an online forum. What has been so eye-opening is how much it has helped me. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or defeated, I just log on and read some of the success stories, complete with their before & after photos - or read about others still dealing day to day with their challenges - and before I know it, the time has flown by and so have all the thoughts of going off track or giving up. It has made all the difference in my success so far.

So welcome - you've found the right place - join in by inspiring us and being inspired! :df:

My family got a Wii Fit for Christmas too and I've been using it religiously. I love Super Hoola Hoop and I'm getting pretty good at it too. =)

Hello...I am a 40 something mother of 3 on day 11 of phase one. New to South Beach and came across this forum while looking for recipes. Interesting forum. Thanks for sharing. I have done really well these past 11 days but I am so tired of eggs. Any ideas about breakfast for phase one? Oh...BTW...I live in Germany so cannot pop into a WalMart or Publix...I have to cook everything using what we have here...but alas, that is only a matter of good planning and preparation.

For answers to your questions and other advice, there's a great forum for the South Beach Diet (in the Diet Central Section). I'm sure you'll find it interesting and helpful - there's sub-forums with recipes as well.
