Hello From Maryland!
Hi Everyone,
My name is Trisha, I have a 6 month old little girl, and a 9 year old little boy. I am 27 years old. I have always been a little heavy for my 5' frame, but never this heavy. I really need to get this weight off from the pregnancy. I got up to 205 while I was pregnant. I am now 187. My little legs do not like the extra weight at all. My body aches. My normal weight before the baby was 150-160. I would really like to get down to 125-130. I am hoping you guys can help me out and keep me motivated. I am going to loose my weight through the WW at home, I just need motivation to exercise... exercise.. exercise! I was just wondering for the people who loose a lot of weight, how do you tone up? Or does it tone up? I know plenty of exercise but should that keep from having excess loose skin? I see the pics of people who loose 100lb and they look great, and I always wondered if it is just diet and exercise. Thank You for taking your time to read my story. |
Hi and welcome!
I'm going to send you here http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/body...ight-loss-219/ with your questions about loose skin. And go ahead and make yourself at home on the WW threads http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/weight-watchers-18/ They're a great bunch of supportive folks! |
:wel3fc: Hi Trisha!
Congrats on the 2 precious little ones, you have your hands full! Sounds like you're off to a good start - the support you need is here - we'll all be here to cheer you on. Glad to have you join us! There are lots & lots of different groups and forums - I'm sure you'll find some that will keep you motivated, inspired and entertained! There's also info and first hand advice on different eating plans like WW and exercise to help get through the ups and downs. There are bunches of people here with more to lose and some with less - the bottom line is that we all have to do it a day at a time. The good thing is that we'll have lots of company along the way. I've only been here a few months myself, having NEVER been part of an online forum. What has been so eye-opening is how much it has helped me. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or defeated, I just log on and read some of the success stories, complete with their before & after photos - or read about others still dealing day to day with their challenges - and before I know it, the time has flown by and so have all the thoughts of cheating or giving up. So welcome - you 've found the right place - join in by inspiring us and being inspired! :df: All the best - good luck with your goals, Lee :tree: Happy Holidays! :newyear: |
Thank You to both of you :)
