This time I am losing it for good!
Hello!!!
I just want to introduce myself. I am a new nurse. Today is the first MONTH of me having a license! I am on my feet all day long, and my legs, feet and back are paying the price of my weight. I am also 29, married for 4 years, and... no babies :?: I know I need to lose weight to help my fertility. I have heard this forum gives GREAT support so here I am! Looking forward to meeting all of you. FresnoGirl |
Welcome, Fresno!
I am back AGAIN, and I swear to god, this is going to be the last time! You have come to the right place for support...there are a lot of great gals on here and even a few guys! |
Hi FresnoGirl!
Welcome and good luck! |
Hi!! Welcome to the site. I'm new as well but I have already learned so much and received so much motivation from this site.
Good Luck! |
Good luck to you and congratulations on becoming a Nurse! I hope you're able to start a family and reach your other goals too.

Thank you so much!

:wel3fc: Hi FresnoGirl!
So glad to hear there's another wonderful nurse out there! Sounds like you're ready to get going - the support you need is here. Glad to have you join us! There are lots & lots of different groups and forums - I'm sure you'll find some that will keep you motivated, inspired and entertained! There's also info and first hand advice on different eating plans and exercise to help choose the right ones for you and get through the ups and downs. There are bunches of people here with more to lose and some with less - the bottom line is that we all have to do it a day at a time. The good thing is that we'll have lots of company along the way. I've only been here a few months myself, having NEVER been part of an online forum. What has been so eye-opening is how much it has helped me. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or defeated, I just log on and read some of the success stories, complete with their before & after photos - or read about others still dealing day to day with their challenges - and before I know it, the time has flown by and so have all the thoughts of cheating or giving up. So welcome - you 've found the right place - join in by inspiring us and being inspired! :df: All the best - good luck with your goals, Lee |
hey FresnoGirl,
Congrats on becoming a nurse! You'll find lots of useful information here... and friends. :) |
Way to go on your nursing license. I've been a RN since March but was a LPN for 8 years prior. I have just started back reading and posting to this board. I have missed it. School, moving, and new job has consumed so much of my time the last year.

Welcome! And congratulations on being a new nurse. I am going to be in 2nd semester of nursing school next year. That is part of the reason, why I want to get the weight off, I want to be a healthy nurse!
