Hello From Ireland
Hi ladies!
I'd heard about the forum through the press and I've been dipping in and out of it for a week or so. Now I've decided that it's high time that I joined. I joined WW two weeks ago and lost 2.5 lbs on my first week and I'm hoping for more good news at the scales on Wednesday. Looking forward to getting to know you all! :wave: NB I already posted the above on the 40 Something's section and, having just discovered the Introductions thread I've copied and pasted it. |

Glad to have you join us! There are lots & lots of different groups and forums - I'm sure you'll find some that will keep you motivated, inspired and entertained! There are lots of people here with more to lose and lots with less - the bottom line is that we all have to do it a day at a time. The good thing is that we'll have lots of company along the way. I've only been here a short time myself, having NEVER been part of an online forum. What has been so eye-opening is how much it has helped me. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or defeated, I just log on and read some of the success stories, complete with their before & after photos - or read about others still dealing day to day with their challenges - and before I know it, the time has flown by and so have all the thoughts of cheating or giving up. So welcome aboard - join in by inspiring us and being inspired! P.S. I see you're from one of my favorite countries - I used to go every year to Waterford to buy crystal for a store here & was lucky enough to visit most of the countryside - I had the most fun with everyone there - they all were so welcoming and warm - I have some great memories from my time there and the friends I made. |
Greetings! I just joined the forums a few days ago, myself, but I think it's already proving to be a positive influence. Joined a challenge or two - it helps to make me accountable for the changes in my body. Reading about the success of those who've been here longer is also a great way to stay motivated. I did WW a few years back and managed to lose 20 lbs. I've gained it back since then, but I will lose it again. And then some!
