Hi Everyone!!!

  • Hello, I'm new here, I've been stalking the forum for a couple days and decided that I wanted to join, in hopes of maybe gaining a little motivation to start on the long journey of weight loss!! A little about me, I'm Tiffany, I'm 17, young I know! I had a baby in August and have some weight to lose from that, although I've always been a little over weight. I currently weigh 173 and am 4'11. I hope to get to about 125-130. I would say I'm pear shaped. I hold a lot of weight in my lower half, especially my legs! Anyways, I have yet to actually start working out, just trying to figure out a game plan for now! Just thought I would introduce myself, I hope to start regularly posting.

    Welcome to the forum honey, I'm new too. I also had a baby when I was 17, so I know how hard it is struggling with your weight at that age because of that reason. Remember to eat enough of the right stuff to keep you going.

    Glad to have you join us! There are lots & lots of different groups and forums - I'm sure you'll find some that will keep you motivated, inspired and entertained!

    There are lots of people here with more to lose and lots with less - the bottom line is that we all have to do it a day at a time. The good thing is that we'll have lots of company along the way.

    I've only been here a short time myself, having NEVER been part of an online forum. What has been so eye-opening is how much it has helped me. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or defeated, I just log on and read some of the success stories, complete with their before & after photos - or read about others still dealing day to day with their challenges - and before I know it, the time has flown by and so have all the thoughts of cheating or giving up.

    Best wishes to you and your new baby. Take it easy with your weight loss & don't be too hard on yourself - you have one of the best reason for needing to lose weight ( and for wanting to)!
