Thanks in advance!

I have no doubt that this site will help me achieve my goals - thanks everyone in advance for your inspiring stories and comraderie.

Most of my life I've been "chubby" but 2 years ago I went on Nutrisystem and got down to 137 lbs - I'm 27 and that is the lightest I've been since junior highschool. I often fantasize about the skinny jeans I wore and the day I bought a size S dress...

8 months and 30 lbs later I was getting the seams ripped out of a bridesmaid's dress for my best friend's wedding the next day. Oops! Its amazing what can happen between fittings!

Anyway, Nutrisystem was ridiculous for me because I love to cook and I love healthy foods - I didn't need to eat out of a box. My weakness is portion control, pasta/bread, and my BACON LOVING BOYFRIEND (we will call him BLB). Seriously, I have learned that living with a skinny man who eats nothing but meat and potatoes makes cooking meals difficult (and potentially self destructive). I've gained about 40 lbs of "love fat" since I met BLB a year and a half ago.

So...after seeing some pictures of myself, and having more than one person ask me if I'm pregnant (humiliating - why can't I gain weight in my butt and not my stomach???!!) I'm on a mission. I hope you can help me and I can help you!!
xo,
B

Glad to have you join us! There are lots & lots of different groups and forums - I'm sure you'll find some that will keep you motivated, inspired and entertained!

I've only been here a few weeks myself, having NEVER been part of an online forum. What has been so eye-opening is how much it has helped me. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or defeated, I just log on and read some of the success stories, complete with their before & after photos - or read about others still dealing day to day with their challenges - and before I know it, the time has flown by and so have all the thoughts of cheating or giving up.

So welcome aboard - join in by inspiring us and being inspired!
