Starting fresh ...yet again. Greeting from Ontario Canada
 

Hi everyone.....Im Tanya. Im not really sure where to begin or what to say but will try to start from the begining.
About 7 years ago I hit the 300 pound mark and new at the age of 29 I had to do something about this. I decided to give the Atkins diet a whirl and low and friggen behold it worked......I lost 160 pounds. Now I am not putting the Tkins diet down at all so no one get me wrong cause Im placing the blame of what happened next on my own genetics. I have an addictive personality by nature and strive to do better and better at things that I start. Anyway long story short I ended up with an eating disorder which I now have somewhat under control but have also regained some of the weight that I lost and I feel miserable. I really want to get off this roller coaster and yo yo dieting once and for all but mainly I want to be comfortable in my own skin.
Low self esteem has plagued me for years and I am tired of feeling alone with the battle of the bulge.
I decided to join up here to get some much needed support and to give whatever support I can offer to people as well!

I'm in Ontario too! And starting fresh as well and am glad to have found these boards. I have read a lot of posts today and it seems like a great source for support.

Looking at all the tickers and seeing how far some of you have come...amazing!
