Just starting but optimistic
Hi. I'm new here and so is my commitment to being healthy. I've been going to the gym for about 3 months (about 3 or 4 days a weeks) and though my stamina and energy has improved, I have to admit that my eating habits have not. And I had to be honest with myself about that. I was getting so frustrated with the way my clothes are fitting and why I wasn't seeing any results. I finally decided to do something about it and last week. I got a personal trainer to work with me once a week at the gym. She's made a rigorous plan for me 5 days a week. Honestly, I hadn't stepped on a scale in over a year (mostly because I was so afraid of what I would see), but she had me do it and I was stunned to find that I weigh much much more than I would have imagined. It's time to get real. It's only been since Tuesday, but I've been sticking with the exercise plan and making much healthier eating choices. I know this isn't going to be easy, but I really want this.
It's so great to see a site like this. Reading everyone's stories (the good and the bad) is wonderful and motivating.
Thanks!
