Frequent train-fall-off'er here....
Did that make sense?? LOL I basically give half-hearted attempts at getting in shape and losing the weight I started putting on when I was pregant w/ my 2nd child, 3 years ago...then I start cheating, and then I'm like "Whatever, I'm fine the way I am...or whatever makes me ok with eating yummy carbs again!"
But, I'm 29 now. I refuse to hit 30 next June with the same bad follow through, bad physique, and extra weight that I have now. I am 5'7", currently 175lbs. I lost 8lbs net in the past 1.5 months (total lost was 13, gained 5 back in the past 2 weeks). Today I had a breakfast of 109 carbs, when I KNOW that I am very sensitive, weight wise, to carbs. I rationalize it with "it's just today" or "I deserved that" or "I'm having a bad day" etc. I need to stop being a child about it. My goal weight is 140lbs. The healthy weight range for my height is 128-160lbs. I was 130 when I married, 135 at the start of my first pregnancy, and now 40lbs later I know I need to stop the excuses. Help me, please! Welcome! I follow South Beach diet, been on it over a week and pleased to say that since I've changed my plan from calorie counting to carb counting I've seen good weight loss drops :)
