New Kid on the block
 

So here it goes again, another kick to start a weight loss and hopefully it will be a little more inviting since I found this slice of heaven. :D

My name is Samantha, I'm 19 years old ( I'll be 20 in February)

I come from a largely obese family, who all ( 14 of my moms brothers and sisters) had gastric by-pass. Along with my father and mother and various other family members. I don't have the money or health insurance to do this, nor do I really want to, I want to be able to say I did it all on my own.

I've decided recently that I want to join the military, like within the last 12 hours I've decided this, I weigh currently 275 lbs and need to be 155 to be eligible to join. and whether or not I decide when I get there to be in the military I do need to be healthy. And I want this all to happen by next summer, So I'm giving myself a year and a half, Guess that all comes with hard work. I think my hardest thing is sticking to it, I've always wanted a work-out buddy to go to the gym with. If anyone happens to be in the San Antonio, Texas area, I'd love to meet and maybe go to the gym together. I'm friendly love to talk and really wanna feel better about myself! guess thats why the rest of you are here too huh!?! lol Looking forward to meeting some of you girls!

aww I wished I live in San Antonio, Texas that way I would have you as a workout buddy and not my sisters who don't like being committed to going to the gym! Welcome to 3fc and I hope you enjoy it here as much as I do I have found some real great people on this site and I know you will too!
