Hi Lisa, your name stood out to me because my husband calls me his chunky monkey....I still can't decide if I like that or not but he means it in a fun playful way.

The great thing I have found about this web site is that there is a thread for everything and/or every mood. There are tons of people on here with lots of information. If you find someone that seems especially helpful try to send them a private message or see if they have a chat application noted on their profile. I have found that most people on here are only more than happy to help.

Thanks everyone! I will admit, I call myself chunky, my boyfriend does not. But it seems to me if it's playful, it doesn't mean any harm. :) Anyone here had or been advised to get gastric bypass surgery?

My doctor recommended it to me and while it would be nice to finally lose the weight and be healthy, I get nervous about what's basically a chemical reformat of my body... I am not trying to start a debate or anything, it's just an honest question.
