Hello all. I'm Megan! Nice to meet everyone. I joined this site, because I want to find others, to build strong supporting relationships with! To tell you a little bit about me, I'm 25, married, and live in Virginia. I've been overweight most of my life, and I've struggled. I am at my highest weight now, and I seem to be at a loss on what to do. Eating better is pretty easy for me, although I do fall off the wagon, like all of us do from time to time. My vice is sweets-chocolate, and other things that are truly terrible for you. :) On July 8 of this year, I lost my mother to cancer, and it has been truly stressful for me. Even before losing her I was trying to make the changes in my life to lose the weight once and for all, but am having trouble. I am completely accountable for my actions, but it can be hard, when you have no one to check in with, I suppose. So, if anyone is having the same issues, and would like a buddy, I'm in. I'd like someone to chat with, someone I can talk to about the steps i'm taking, someone who will lend me support, and someone who's in the same boat I am in. :) Thanks everyone and I hope to talk to you all soon :)

Hello! I'm new here too... basically looking for people to help motivate me. Last month I was diagnosed with Kidney Disease. My doctor, who'd never complained about my weight, just looked at me and said, "you've got to lose it". Well, hello... that's way easier said than done. But, regardless... I'm in. So here I am looking for new friends and some motivation.
