I have been looking thru the forums and I must say - so many people are so inspiring. I decided that I needed some sort of support as I am terrified I am going to mess up.
I am 38 and have struggled with my weight over the last 15 years. When I was in high school I was anorexic. I was brought up in a home with a terrible food perception. My sister began counting calories in 2nd grade..
Well last year my husband and I lost lots of weight watching our eating, portion control and exercise. I lost 69 pounds in 5 months. Well, I fell off the wagon I gained it all back and more. I currently weigh the most I have ever weighed - 263 pounds!!!
I began my new healthy lifestyle last Wednesday after a heart to heart discussion with my primary.. since then I have lost 8 pounds.. so I am feeling pretty excited!! I really need to stay on the right track, but not over the top.. It's not hard for me to get there..
I am so excited to have found this forum, everyone is so nice and supportive!
