I think I'm ready... (just joined)
 

Hi all,

My name is Marina, I'm 22, weigh almost 230, am 5'1", and am just about FED up with my weight. I've been heavy all of my life, but it seems that the past few years I've been gaining and quickly, and I've just been adapting and ignoring the weight gain. But I know that I'm heavier and I just want to lose this weight.

I went shopping today trying to find fall clothes, and just about everything I tried on didn't fit properly or at all. Clothes shopping is often discouraging and always a nightmare.

I just found this website and I hope that I can make contact with others like me, maybe find some real life inspiration and some others that actually know how I'm feeling..what I'm going through. I've been like this before, I think I'm at the end of my rope but the next chance I get to stop by McD's (I like fast food a little too much) I seize without so much as a second thought.

Sorry this is long.. Maybe TMI for some people as I'm not sure what the norm for posting is.. but nice to meet everyone and hopefully this time is for real.. because I really do think I'm ready..
