Somebody give me a boost-Paaalease

Hello All,
I'm new here and wish I would had researched and found you earlier. This appears to be a support group truly dedicated to supporting everyone.
I'm 60 down, and 30 from goal, but I am getting lazy, and sort of bored with food choices. My husband is 40 down and 30 from goal, but we both have run out of steam and are thinking we look pretty good.
Everyone around me is telling me how well I'm doing, and as I've done many, many, many times before.....I think I've done "good enough" and I start to revert to old habits and take a rest.....my rests seem to provide me with at least 75 pounds! I've done this so many time, I'm holding and I have not started to gain, but it is a struggle.
I've not stalled, but I an see my goal and I'm am losing focus on attaining. The slow part of low carb learning is not registering for me.
Does anyone have some good advise to push me back. I guess my motivation is starting to go with the pounds and I need some help.

:^:

Hi and welcome to 3FC!

You'll find tons of GREAT advice, tips, information, etc. Check out the boards, you won't be disappointed :D

My main thing is planning. I plan my meals, I plan my exercise. Do you keep a food journal? If not, I do recommend it. Holding yourself accountable helps. We even have accountability threads here for both food and fitness.

We do have low carb forums here too that you may be interested in :)

Congrats on your success and good luck with your goals. You CAN do this :cheer3:

Hugs
Michelle

Michelle,
WOW you look fantastic!!!!! 138 pounds, and I'm whining about losing focus? How do you stay focused? I appreciate your advise and very good advise. Started a journal, I'm very lax about keeping track but will make an effort. I am going to the accountability threads next, again good advise. Thank you for taking the time to guide me, your time is appreciated.
BTW, great on the smoking almost one year. Trust me it gets easier, but I can't tell you the number of times I still pick up friends cigs and sniff them! Sick I know, but it kills the urge for me.
Thanks again.

Christine

Hi Christine, I'm new too. It sounds like you've gotten bored with your food choices, time to have a look around for some more exciting ones :) I'm still making my way around the site but there is a whole section on recipes which looks yummy! Don't give up

I stay focused because I want to be healthy and I refuse to go back to being morbidly obese.

Thanks so much

We can do this :D
