Let's get it Started
Hello all! I've posted before on a rollarblading idea, but I never properly introduced myself.
Not to mention I'm horrible and making myself come back on and post on forums and thus I'm known more as a lurker than a poster. I've decided today that this is where it all starts and I've done a little here and there to motivate myself today. Shopping for running shoes and pants and signing up around here and there on weight sites. I think a huge help is going to be calorie count. I've already got a little posted on there from today; here's the link to my journal. I would certainly enjoy reading up on any of you who might be on there. I am actually doing a clean eating diet. It is awsome, and there isn't any calorie counting!!! I am loving it and it really is not hard to follow. It's been a little over 3 wks and I have already lost 11lbs!!!:) I actually eat 5 to six times a day---I am never hungry and it is real food!!! So much easier than calorie counting. Check out the web for info on Clean Eating, it's a great option that you may want to try. :) |

Kudos to you for getting yourself on track for a healthier lifestyle! It takes commitment and dedication and you seem like you are ready and eager :D. I am a calorie counter too :). I have lost close to 140 pounds calorie counting :). It is pretty simple and flexible. I've definitely looked into the clean eating Madison, but I think I definitely need to ahve some way to keep myself accountable at the moment. I think the most realistic avenue with that for me, is calorie counting. I think later I will definitely be looking for something like clean eating to have as a more base lifestyle, but for now I think the structure of calorie counting will do. Congrats to both of you on the weight! I'm taking the rest of this week as a sort of "observational" for myself. I can already tell I'm eating less simply by holding myself accountable for the calories and I've already downed two bottles of water, which never happens. |
