Hello, my name is Cathy and I'm from San Antonio Texas and in my opinion, home of the best Tex-Mex food in the world and I have the tummy to prove it.

In the beginning of the year I was hospitalized and found out I was type 2 diabetic and it's been an up hill battle since then. I started out alright but I've hit a slump and the doctor wants me to lose another 40-50 lbs and I wasn't exactly motivated till I came across this forum.

I looked around the forum and read some stories, but it wasn't till I came across the before and after section that lit the fire and made me say, I want to be like them....I want to be a before and after person....I can do it.

I just wanted to give a quick hello to everyone here and let me say congrats to everyone that have reached their goal and those continuing their journey to their goal.

Now I'm off to read some more and wish me luck.

By the way, congrats onderchic on the "quit smoking". I stopped 2 months ago and although it's still a bit of a struggle, I'm still on the wagon.
LOL...it's tough trying to be healthy...but worth it I'm sure.
