I am going to do this!!! Starting on my weight loss journey!!

What an awesome website this is...I am so excited to be here and glad to have found all of you!
This is going to be a long journey and I am going to need all the help I can get! I am really ready to do this...not for anyone else...but for me and my future!!!

I've always been a "chubby" girl...(well...thinking I was chubby...but really not) and after fighting it all of my life I really let it go when I got married 5 years ago and I just didn't care anymore. It felt so good to just eat whatever I wanted and enjoy food and not think about it. My husband loves me no matter what...no dance costume, cheerleading skirt, formal or wedding dress to fit into...I finally felt free.

I am now at 300 lbs!! And all that freedom doesn't feel like freedom any more. I can't do many of the things I love to do. I can't believe I've gotton to this place...but I know I have the power to change it! I need to change my life. I want ot have a baby someday, I want to feel carefree again, I want to not cry in dressing rooms.

I have put myself on a 1200 calorie diet, staying under 25 grams of fat and 120 carbs (including veggies). I am coming off of a terrible ankle injury (part of what has contributed to my weight gain)...but I am hoping to start walking this week! My first goal is to get to 199. 101lbs. That will feel so free!

Anyway...thank you for being here..and I know with you guys, the support of my family and friends, and my willpower...I will get there!!

Thank you so much everyone! I feel so excited! I have already lost a pound! I'm never going to see a 3 as the first number again!!! =)
