3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community - New Life starting with the Realize Band

Hello,
My name is Sara and I had the Realize band placed on Friday, Aug. 7, 2009.
This is my new journey to a healthy and satisfying life.
I am still sore and trying to get use to the idea of a liquid diet for the rest of this week and then the new eating habbits I will have to follow to ensure I continue on a healthier way of life.
My weight on Aug. 5th (my pre-op visit) was 217 lbs.
I am now at 209, two days after surgery. I do not expect my weight to continue to drop off so quickly, but it is a nice start on my life long journey.
My goal weight is 120 lbs, which might sound like a low weight, but I am only 4'11 1/2" (I say 5 feet to round it off haha).
