Intro, new girl!
Hello, everyone!
My name is Puja, and I have been lurking here for awhile but I have decided to join. I have been struggling with some extra weight all my life, and I am finally ready to make the commitment towards it. When I was younger, I weighed around 200 lbs and then I quit drinking pop. I lost about 20 lbs and have stayed around there since. I've gotten down to 150 before but that was done unhealthily (starving myself, etc). I have/had body issues but I'm thankfully beyond the immature step of not eating, and am now eating healthily to foster weight loss. Hopefully I can do it! I'm currently around 175lbs, and I want to get down to 150-145 lbs. I'm a bigger boned sort of person, so I don't know how I'll look beyond 145 but I'll cross that bridge when it comes. Welcome, Puja, I don't think your picture is 'cringeworthy' I think you look very nice in both of them.
What you have in your favor is that you like to cook, so you can make your own healthy meals! Check out the recipe forums/collections. I've been spending a lot of time there and trying all sorts of things. |
