Back again, seven pounds heavier
 

Well, this is my third try here. I think this is a fabulous forum, but I just can't seem to get going--sick as I am of being overweight!

Since I last logged on, I seem to have begun menopause (age 49), and now I REALLY have a problem. Suddenly every bite sticks more easily, every drop of water is retained, and pounds are harder than ever to get off.

So....here I am.....who knows......third time the charm?

One other thought about menopause: I feel like food tastes even more awesome than ever. Anybody else experience this?

Joan, I,m there! Menopause is a big hurdle. Check out the over 50 support group. It may take us a bit longer, but we will get there. And you don't have far to go!
