Ok now, you REALLY have no excuse not to hit the gym! At least ONE of them! Do you need a friendly kick in the rear to set you in the right direction? :D

I have a whole work out room full of equipment. NO EXCUSE here either. Just head-in-butt syndrome. :dizzy:

Don't feel bad Danni. I can't find my waist either! I *had* one a year ago. Looked pretty good actually. Now I have blubber where there used to be a waist. :(

Insulin resistance makes it much tougher to lose weight from what I've heard. Not sure how it works, but what helps to overcome it? Low sugar eating?

Yes low GI foods are best to keep the insulin spikes low and the fatty deposits the same. When I did super low carb I still lost weight very quickly despite the IR, so hopefully this time eating a more 'balanced' diet from the outset will be ok too.

And yes I do need a kick in the posterior!!!! ha!!! I really have no excuse not to go to at least ONE of the gyms do I! ha!

Balanced really is better. There has got to be a happy medium between super low carb, (which is really hard to maintain,) and eating unhealthy sugars. If we as dieters can just get our sugars from fruits and grains, then we would be in very good health and still losing weight!

No ma'am! NO excuse! :kickbutt: :coach: :drill:

How's that? :D

I really shouldn't call us "dieters". Perhaps "health conscience" would be a better way to describe what most of us here are trying to do.
