New Here!
Hi everyone!
My name is Katie and I've kinda hit a barrier as far as motivation goes so I figured I would try something new. I have always been a very active person and for the past 4 years of college have gone back and forth between dieting and "eating normal." My last semester of college was extremely stressful with school, work, and just my personal life, and it was obvious with my almost 20lb weight gain! I am starting graduate school 1000 miles from home at the end of the summer and am looking to lose those 20lbs and gain my confidence back! I still have a pretty consistent work out routine (with running, cycling, and swimming) so at this point it is mostly just figuring out how to eat healthy. I have lived in the dorms for four years and so it is somewhat difficult to get a balanced diet. For example, I watched my friends order 10 pizzas this morning as they planned to hunker down in our in-dorm movie theater for a movie marathon (11am to 11pm). No wonder I gained weight!! I'm not really looking for a diet but for a lifestyle change. Any advice would be appreciated!
