Hello, I am new here~

    Just joined a few minutes ago.
    Glad to be here as I need a little more motivation and could use a supportive community!

    I have been doing fair. I have lost 31 pounds since the end of Jan 09.

    I have been doing Low Carb but am switching to a good whole foods plan now. Not sure which plan yet but I am leaning toward Schwarzbein or "You on a Diet" as I have both books and think they are both pretty good plans.

    If you have any other suggestions, please share!

    I went off low carb two days ago and gained about 4# (it's water as I have been counting calories and know where I am at.)...

    I just need to switch gears and get some good meal ideas. I am walking about 2 and 3/4 miles each AM so far.

    I will be in here motivating people as well!

    I can't wait to get to know everyone.

    wow, you've done really well so far, good job
    there's a lot of great people here who are really supportive and help motivate and inspire you to stick to your weight loss plan
    it discouraged me when I was on south beach and went from no-carbs to starting to eat carbs... because then i gained weight back after being so strict :/ but i wasn't counting calories and didn't realize that it was just water weight.
    i'm glad you're more educated than I was :] lol

  • welcome, I am also new, just started doing the south beach diet. I am creating a all inclusive 4 week challenge including 4 weeks of meal plans for everyone to follow. I want to see how much weight in total we can lose. Look for my challenge soon, I will keep everyone posted.

    So you are starting a SoBe challange? I will keep an eye out.
    I have done and enjoyed SoBe. I may jump in on that challange for a while also. For me it helps to keep my body guessing. I will be changing diets from time to time as I lose.
