New Here - Motivation Needed :0)
Hey There
Well I guess I am here for the same reason and all of you - want to/ have to lose weight. I have spent the last year coming back from a serious depression and now feel great !!!:D So now that my brain/soul are working and happy and healthy its time to work on this poor neglected body of mine ... I am also no stranger to trying to lose weight, dieting, exercising blah blah blah but I lose motivation really quick (depression meds and some substance issues years ago have done a number on me) :( But this time its gonna be for real, I am strong and ready to do this - I have weaned my meds way down and have a scrip for Meridia so I am hoping that if I can see some results from my hard work it will be easier to keep going !!!! So HI everyone I am excited to hear others stories and maybe get a kick in the butt when I need it :) |

I'm kinda new here too...and so far I've found that the people on these forums are wonderful! I certainly hope you find the same support and motivation that I have!! What kind of diet are you working on? I've been trying the low calorie, low fat plan...and it's worked so far, so we'll see!!! Anyhow....keep us updated on your progress and welcome, again!!! |

Hey Serenity, welcome to 3FC :D Glad to hear you're happy and healthy, it's important to be able to really focus on the decisions you make regarding weight loss because you want it to be for the long run not just a quick fix. This forum is full of information, support, and motivation so you definitely came to the right place! If you need help with anything just let me know :)

Thanks everyone - all the words of encouragement really help :0) I am not working on any diet per say, just trying to eat properly, whole food, no sugar, no processed food and lots of fuit & veggies ............ feeling really positive this time about just doing it !!!! Hugs to you all :)

I'm going the same route :D lots of fruits and veggies, no processed prepackaged "crap", whole grains occasionally..staying away from white foods! If you need someone to talk to drop me a private message, I'm on here everyday :-)

I really like your tattoo and think that says it all, accept the things we can not change, have strength to change the things that we can and the courage to know the difference.
