Hi all - ready to help myself

Hello everyone.

I have spent the last several years ill and totally unmotivated to do anything. A few months ago I decided that I cannot wait until I am "better" to start fixing my life, myself and what I am unhappy with.
SO, I am starting witht he woman in the mirror.
My biggest problem is that I tend to skip a lot of meals. My digestion is slow and so I tend to feel full for a long time even after small meals or snack.
I am a vegan and it is hard sometimes to get enough calories.
I am determined to do better as I have about 85 pounds I need to send to some outer dimension where it will never return.

The most important thing you can do is commit to put yourself first! Don't skip meals just eat smaller meals so you don't feel full. Also as a vegan really watch your protein levels. Count your grams of protein and keep it high not low. Good luck!

Welcome! Being a vegan is hard work, I say you should sit down and get a plan going. Your body may be holding on to that weight because you aren't getting enough of a balance. Being a vegan is tough work (props to ya!) This is a great place to get support and have a community to help you when you're down. It's great that you're starting your journey. Banish those pounds! :D! Woo!
