Hello to all

First, let me start by asking if a fat guy can post here?

I started off weighing 390 and joined WW'ers and it worked. But it got to be the same thing over and over again and lost my motivation. I made it to 225 which is a great weight for me, but I went back up to 280 and went back to WW'ers for about a month and lost 10 pounds.

I consider myself active now, I ride my bike whenever I can and like to go for long rides on the weekends, however I need that motivation to stop eating so much. I know how to eat and what to eat, it's just that sometimes as we all know food is my comfort when I get stressed.

So which forum should I post and where to give and receive encouragement. I've heard all the fat jokes and I completely understand what it's like to be fat. I just don't want to go back up in weight, I worked so hard to get where I am.

Thanks,

Brian

Howdy.

I'm also a new fat guy, or so I feel.

I've been trying to gain the willpower to be able to do this on my own, but it remains difficult, thus I thought a support network would at least be a step in the right direction.

Maybe some gentle push in the right direction of eating properly and dusting off the Wii Fit is probably a good start for me.

Hello Brian,
I am new here too but wanted to welcome you. Everyone here is very supportive. I do know that I have seen men on these forum, very smart, kind men, so make yourself at home.
All the sub forums seems helpful and informative so post away!
Scarlet;)

Hi Brian, welcome to the community :)

Congratulations on your success so far! There are forums for loads of areas of weight loss, including a specific weight watchers forum that could be good for you. A lot of people find inspiration in the success forum so you may find that the posts there help to keep you on track, and your story would be a great addition too.

You'll find so much support here, don't let your gender make you feel that you can't post, everyone loves another perspective :)

Good luck with everything, see you around!
