Newbie from New York
Hey all im a 35 year old male who is 6 feet and currently on an all time high of 240 pounds. I never had a problem losing weight but this time I have a big obstacle to conquer.
I fractured my right kneecap and I'm unable to jog in my favorite track at this point in time. My occupation is a Corrections Officer and that doesnt help either considering my diet consists of high fattening food. I have been wheening off of high fattening foods little by little but the exercising part is to a halt. My knee injury and my physique has gotten to a point where it depresses me. My injury occured in mid march so hopefully I will be fully healed by june. Im glad i found this site and was wondering where did u guys find that sig with the weight loss count. Hi Jl, welcome!! The ticker in the signature will be available, after you have been here 20 days and have 20 posts, in the User CP (in the purple bar above) in the signature section. They want to make sure the new members are going to stick around before issuing them. I am sorry to hear about your injury, but it is great news that it will be healed soon! Until then, maybe you could concentrate on the upper body, using weights or strength-training bands. Great job on cutting back on the high fat foods!! Oh, and it's always nice to have another man in the forum. You'll find there are lots of "mother hens" here to help you, lol! Thanks for the reply....I'll try and concentrate on the upper body. Wish I could jog around my favorite track. =(
