I'm 25 and have been out of college for a year. I work with at-risk kids in our public school system, and I'm also a part-time stylist.

I have a little boy who will be four next month (his mother, my aunt, passed a little over three years ago, so I am raising him). He definitely keeps me busy!

I love music, travel and making things, but I especially love my family and working with kids! :D

I was recently diagnosed with PCOS, and it all makes sense now!

I found this forum through a Google search (PCOS/South Beach). I'm headed over to the PCOS forum to poke around, but thought I'd stop in here to say hi!!

Wow. You are AWESOME to fill that role for the little guy. I can imagine it's been hard for you- that's a lot of responsibility to take on so kudos to you for stepping up. He's a lucky kid!

Welcome to 3fc. You'll find lots of support here. I am also PCOS (mild) but it sure makes a difference if you eat fewer carbs. We'll look forward to getting to know you.
