Greetings from Las Vegas
 
Hi everyone. I just found this forum and have decided to give it a try. I am very serious about losing weight, I just so far have lacked the willpower to do so. I have never really sought out communities like this for support, mainly because I am embarassed. So here it is, I am 284lbs and 5'4 and have finally reached a point where I am physically really beginning to feel this extra weight. Hopefully I can draw inspiration from people who are going through what I am or have already been through it because going it alone is not working.

Harbor, :wel3fc: We are glad you came by.

I know how daunting losing a lot of weight can be-- I am with you. Just take it one day at a time and do the best you can! More than likely, you will slip and fall off the wagon.... but we all do. Remember to get back up and start again..... You have taken the most important step. If I can help in any way... let me know. Also, one of the most pieces of advise I can give you is DO WHAT WORKS FOR YOU! That is the fool proof diet.

I will be in your neck of the woods next week. I am leaving for Vegas to get married on Friday. we will be married on Tuesday or Wednesday.
