Sayin hi and Hello

Hello to all my name is Alena I am 28 and a mother of three. My husband is currently overseas serving our country. I am here for motivation and support, I have been a navy wife for eight years. Each year I get bigger and bigger. I'm tired, Tired of not having enough energy to play with my kids, Tired of eating out of emotions due to worry and stress, TIRED of being over weight. I use to weigh 145 pounds I had gained close to 100 pounds. My hubby is a navy seal, very athletic and handsome. It's hard to be overweight and walk around with him by my side. He's 9 years older than me and people think I'm older than him. I hurts to hear people make comments like "That's your wife.... ...", or " Is that your brother"..... He has told me in a very suttle and loving way that he misses ME the Mini Me that is, He misses the energetic and outgoing ME, I use to be VERY athletic we would go to the park and play football together, fly kites, go to the gym and play basketball. He has been very encouraging and supportive and loved me no matter what size I was. He even still calls me his arm candy.... He's loved me through my thickness...now I want him to love me thin again. I truly need as much help and support while I am on this mission as possible. Because he's not here to hold me up. I want this so bad I can see it when I look in the mirror. I don't just want to lose weight for vanity, and to make my pappy happy...lol, I want to do it for me and my kids, For my health. I look forward to conversing and learning and sharing with you all.... Sorry for venting and being emotional...

Hampton Roads, woo-woo! Wassup!?

Okay, sorry...I grew up in Va Beach and am an ODU alumni, so I had to give a shout out when I saw you live in Norfolk. :)

I am feeling your pain on all levels. I am 30, with 2 toddlers, and I have a husband who is 10 years older and in the best shape of his life (and that is saying something, because he's never even been close to overweight). We are lucky though that they love us through thick and thin. That is HUGE. I know so many women whose husbands aren't so kind.

I know how you feel about wanting to lose the weight so that you can be a better mother (have more energy! Be a good role model for them!), but also a better wife (turn that man on!).

I'm hoping for you that you'll lose a ton of weight while he is deployed! I wouldn't even send him any pictures! Just shock the **** out of him when he gets back.
