Hello.
Hello, everyone!
I'm new here, and have decided that it's about time for me to lose weight. Over the past year, I've gained about 100 pounds, and it's seriously gotten out of control. I'm only 20 years old and I weigh 350. I'm tired of not being able to even walk up the stairs to my apartment without being winded. I've tried to lose weight in the past, but wasn't very successful. I've finally come to the conclusion that if I want to live, I will lose weight. Every pound that I gain is taking a piece of my life from me, and it needs to stop. Lol, sorry for the long rant... just basically introducing myself and looking for support :) |
Welcome and I am glad you found 3fc. It's a wonderful place and you can learn alot from the people here. Take a look around and settle in. I'm rooting for you, you can do this!!

Joined here myself today so don't feel I can give a true reflection of the site other than everyone wants to help one another to acheive goal.
Take one step at a time, I set a 7lb goal each time as setting a goal of pounds in double figures I can't cope with. At each 7lb I have a treat, manicure, hairdo etc and it gives me an added lift and something positive to aim for. Hope that helps, and good luck - I know you can do it |

There are a couple of forums I would suggest you check out. First the 20 something forum, also the 100 lb Club for folks looking to lose 100 lbs or more and the 300 Club for folks who starting out about 300 lbs. Lots of fun, support and knowledge in all those forums. Good luck! |
