Hi everyone,

I'm new here, so I thought I'd go to the most obvious place to start!

I'm Ally, I'm 42 and I'm married to Rob with a 9 year old son. We live about 50 miles outside of London in the UK.

I've been doing Weight Watchers for about 2 years and in the first year, I lost close to 100lb but since this time last year I've done a great job of maintaining, lol, I weigh nearly the same now as I did in May last year, so I've decided to switch to South Beach as I have Polycystic Ovaries.

I think I just got into a rut with Weight watchers and didn't really watch what I ate that much, sneaked a little here and there that wasn't on the plan and so didn't succeed. But we just got a new plan here in the UK that is a combination of flex and core and it just doesn't suit me, it's too many carbs and as I've done some research I've realised that the more carbs I eat, the more I crave, I'm like a carb addict, lol, so WW isn't for me any more, although I think it's a fantastic plan for most.

Wow, I can ramble when I get started, lol. But I look forward to getting to know everyone and making friends on here, you seem like such a friendly, knowledgable bunch!
