Howdy everybody. :)
As you can probably tell from my username, I'm Jenny. I'm 17 years old, (18 very soon :) ) and I'm from Liverpool in the United Kingdom.
Currently I stand at 5"4 and a half feet tall, weighing 150 pounds. I'm a UK size 14, which makes me a US size 10, me thinks.
From about 9 or 10 my weight bothered me, as I noticed I was bigger than a lot of other girls, and throughout my early teenage years, I struggled to feel good about myself. Two of my friends suffered with anorexia at this time. Thankfully they're both alright now, but I guess, being impressionable, this had an effect on my thinking too. I suffered with Binge Eating/ Bulimia for a year or two.
I am no where near confident yet, but I have come to terms with the fact that weight loss is not some sort of mecca that will make me happy. I feel now that I am ready to do this seriously!
Optimally I would love to be about 115 pounds, but I think this is verging on being a little unrealistic at this point. It seems like a long way away.
Realistically, I am going to aim for 120-125 pounds, and I'd love to achieve this by September (when I am going to university.) If I am strict with myself I could lose more, but I don't want to let weight loss take over my life, as it has done before.

Okay, more fun stuff.... I love my music loud, and my coffee black with lots of splenda. ;) I am a veggie, and have a black blob of a Scottish Terrier puppy who is my best friend. I love to create anything, be it music, art, food, or clothes, but above everything else, I love films.

Hi fellow film lover! Welcome to the board. I am still a fresh member. I hang at a pub run by a transplanted Liverpudlian. He's a great fella. I don't drink really, I just love the atmosphere and having a Cornish pastie from time to time.
