Time to get serious (again!)

  • Hello everyone,

My name is Rose and I am 26 years old. I was diagnosed with PCOS about three years ago and resolved to lose the weight that had piled on. I have always had a pretty healthy diet but after I was diagnosed I began to exercise about 5 times per week and went from 190lbs. to about 165lbs.

A year after losing the weight my husband and I moved back to our hometown and I went back to school. Well, suffice it to say, a full time job and a full college load does not make for any kind of consistent eating or exercising schedule and I have since gained back the weight I lost. I have resolved to lose the weight I've gained back and have started going to the gym again.

My biggest obsticle is my lack of time. I am trying to find ways of eating when I am at school that do not involve fast food or buying food on campus. I struggle with getting to the gym because, unfortunetly, the only time I can get there is when I leave campus at about midnight each day. I'm hoping that joining this forum will motivate me to keep on top of eating consistantly and going to the gym even after my long days.
