Hey, hey!!
Hey everyone!
I'm a 27-year-old Army wife and mother of a nine-year-old boy who's whole life changed on Feb. 7th. I was admitted to the hospital with a blood sugar level of 666. The doctors informed me that I had diabetes and that I had to get some of my 218 pounds off of my 5'4" frame. Over the next couple of days, I heard "I'm so sorry" from a million different people, but my disease is also my blessing. I've been unhappy about my weight for a long time, but I couldn't admit it to anyone. I just hated the idea of giving in to other people's idea of a beautiful woman. Now, I have a reason to start taking my weight loss seriously. So far, I've trimmed off about 7 pounds and I'm going to keep going until I hit 160!!!! I know it will be HARD wirk, but I'm ready!! :carrot:
