Hi, My name is Anna Maria, and this is my first time on a weight loss forum. I'm 23 and from california. I have suffered from eating disorders in one form or another since the age of 13 and I've been underweight and overweight. I am currently recovering from bulimia, but I am overweight and trying to lose weight, so I decided to come here for support. I hope to get to know you all.

One thing to be sure of, with your ED history, is that your doctor is aware of your weight and weight goals. Losing weight, even the healthy way, can trigger people with ED tendencies back into old patterns, but having a doc to supervise can help prevent that.

We have many forums here - the 20-somethings, for those in that age range, the "Chicks in Control" forum for those who struggle with disordered eating, and all kinds of groups by eating plan. Look around, find a spot or several, and settle in.
